# Properties

Open **Properties** in the OS. This desk is the inventory for the
company.

## What you keep here

- Buildings and units in one company list
- Type, status, city, and address
- Owner name, email, and phone on the record

Save an owner email, then **Invite owner**. That emails a login to
`/owners`. The owner sees occupancy, rent charges, and work orders on
that property. Inventory edits stay with company members.

A listing, lead, lease, work order, construction job, or syndication
offer should point at a property you already keep here. Do not start
from a portal advert or a spreadsheet and leave the OS empty.
